Armorer's Course 

Personal Glock Pistol Armoring


Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for armoring personal Glock pistol safely. Upon successful completion of this course, the student should have the ability to service his/her own personal Glock pistol. The student should be able to successfully detail disassemble and reassemble his/her own personal Glock pistol*.


This is not an Armorer's Course from Glock. Glock Armorer's Certification can only be granted by Glock after attending a Glock armorer's school.


Students will learn:

  • Safety rules in handling firearms

  • History of the Glock pistol

  • Models and Calibers

  • Basic Operation

  • Field Stripping (Disassembly and Reassembly)

  • Detail Strip - Slide (Disassembly and Reassembly)

  • Detail Strip - Receiver (Disassembly and Reassembly)

  • Detail Strip - Magazine (Disassembly and Reassembly)

  • Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Trouble Shooting

  • Continued opportunities for skill development

Students will receive:

  • Course handout

  • Glock disassembly tool

  • Half-height Slide Cover

  • Certificate of Completion

  VI: Slide Detail Strip (Disassembly and Reassembly)

 VII: Receiver Detail Strip (Disassembly and Reassembly)

VIII: Magazine Detail Strip (Disassembly and Reassembly)

  IX: Cleaning and Maintenance

   X: Troubleshooting




Every student must bring his/her own personal Glock pistol with a magazine. The Glock pistol must be clean and in working condition.
